PRODUCTION |
Rotomac
srl has been established in 1980 as an offspring of a well-known
aluminium foil and plastic film converting/packaging company. Giorgio Scudeletti,
the founder, serves as President of Rotomac.
Rotomac was successful in hiring Mr. Alberto Beldì as chief engineer and
placing him in charge of Technical Development and Sales.
Rotomac was created to develop and
construct machines and complete lines for rewinding household and catering rolls
of aluminium foil and plastic film.
A natural addition to the successful rewinding equipment came in the form of automatic
packaging machinery. Efficient machines were developed to load rewound rolls into
individual cartons and package them into corrugated cases. Rotomac was then able
to offer complete rewinding and packaging lines.
Rotomac then developed automatic
machines and complete lines for the production of aluminium food containers, dishes
and trays. Special attention is now focused on development of high quality dies,
designed to meet customers' specific requirements.

Our
rewinders, are today working all over the world and every year they produce
a quantity of rolls for food of approx. 15,000,000 Km in length, equivalent
to 40 times the distance between the Earth and the Moon.

| Mr. Scudeletti designed and
produced for Giesse, in year 1973, his first automatic rewinding machine. He
completed in year 1975 the automatic line for the production of rolls. See pictures
below.

So many years of experience lead Mr. Scudeletti to develop the original basic
model and to design and produce in 1980 an up to date model of automatic rewinding
machine. See picture below. As our customers can confirm this machine model
is still working in their companies.
Rotomac did not stop its studies
and kept improving its technologies and its equipment; an example is the improved
automatic rewinder model of the year 1985. See picture below.

Further steps followed before getting to the modern machines.
Finally it was the time of the new generation machines, faster and easier to
operate thanks to the latest generation electronic controls. This continuous
evolution lead in year 2001 to the birth of the automatic
rewinding machine model RTC 128 with the automatic mother roll change over.
Rotomac is well known all over the world not only
for its long and solid experience in rewinding and packing equipment but, also
for the great attention its technical staff has always given and keeps giving
to the customers, before and after the sale. |
